ABOUT TEAM HALI NXT PRO

Pride Roc Basketball was founded in 2019 by Coach Demonte Bynum, Program Director. With over 20 years of experience as both a player and coach, Coach Bynum brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the program. As a standout at Clarke College in Dubuque, IA, he earned numerous accolades including Second-Team All-American, Midwest Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, and is ranked 2nd on Clarke’s all-time scoring list, with career records in three-pointers, assists, and free-throw percentage.

Coach Bynum has coached both boys and girls at multiple age levels. The last several years he led the Heritage Christian Boys Basketball program through record setting seasons, and most recently serving as Varsity Head Coach at Martin Luther High School in Greendale, WI.

Pride Roc was founded as a competitive travel program built on more than just basketball. We instill values of hard work, commitment, respect, and integrity. It's not enough for our players to be skilled athletes—they must also grow into strong, responsible young men. Coach Bynum doesn’t just hope for that growth—he demands it.

In 2025, Pride Roc Basketball partnered with Team Hali to form Team Hali NXT Pro. Our teams now compete in the NXTPRO Circuit, a nationally recognized, high-level youth basketball platform sponsored by Puma, which offers exceptional exposure to college scouts and recruiters. In addition to NXTPRO, our teams also participate in other top exposure circuits such as Prep Hoops and NY2LA.

At the heart of our program is a strong sense of community. Our teams are close-knit, and we are proud of the supportive, involved parent base that has become our extended basketball family. We understand that competitive basketball is a major commitment—not only from the player, but from the entire family. That’s why we work hard to make sure every family feels connected, valued, and aligned with the level of dedication it takes for our program to succeed.
